Q-Switched Laser

Our Q-Switched laser delivers peak pluses of up to 200 megawatts in ultra-short 5-20 nanosecond pulse widths.

This is possible due to its electro-optic Q-Switch which acts as a high-speed shutter that stores the light energy in between the pulses.

During treatment, the laser’s high intensity beams cause a mechanical photo-acoustic effect in the treatment area and cause the targeted chromophores to vibrate and shatter, without damaging neighboring tissues.

The Q-Switched laser has dual wavelength capabilities of 1064nm and 532nm, and using the KTP adaptor, you can alternate between them.
